Bio

This Richmond VA native has art in his blood. He is a poet/singer/songwriter whose influences range from Bootsy Coolins to Andre 3000. Beyond art Naeem has spent his life focused on work within the various communities of which he has resided. From counseling addicts of Richmond's West End to working with the youth and serving the homeless of Washington DC. These experiences as you may imagine have given the author a plethora of subject matter into which he can and does delve in Word Premeire (March 2008)

Through the use of poetry and song Naeem is a voice of acknowledgement for the social struggles of the poor and oppressed within his community and around the globe. He currently resides in Baltimore MD.
