Michelle Lynette (actress/poet) made her acting debut with AWJ Production in a stage play entitled, No More Drama Remix featuring Gospel Recording artist Vickie Winans. Her studies began in high school under the direction of Yvonne Dupree where she played Dussy Mae in a stage reading of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom & Talk Show host Oprah Winfrey in a Black History Program. As a poet, Lynette has made appearances at The National Underground Spoken Word & Poetry Awards, as well as The National Black L.U.V. Festival in Washington DC. Lynette is now studying under the tutelage of acclaimed Director/Actor Clayton Lebouef of The Wire (HBO), Law & Order (NBC), Something The Lord Made (HB0), Homicide: Life on the Street (NBC) Currently, Michelle Lynette resides in Houston, Texas with her daughter.
