Tickets to a A Friendly Game of Slam are SOLD OUT.

A Friendly Game of Slam is a friendly celebration of competitive performance poetry (slam) in which 10-15 poets will compete against one another in two rounds.

The Process: Three (3) judges will be chosen randomly from the audience and two (2) will be pre selected to score each performance on a scale of zero (0) to ten (10). The highest and lowest of the five scores will be dropped so that the highest possible score for a performance will be thirty (30). The highest scoring five (5) to eight (8) competitors, depending on the number of slammers, will go the second round in which the winner will be determined.
